In case you can't read the poster, here's the schedule: The folks from Arte Viva announce the schedule of events for ArteViva 08 in Puerto Viejo:

Pre-Festival Events:

Wednesday, September 24

Evening: All musicians and spectators are invited to the 550th Open Jam night, held at Maritza Bar. 

Thursday, September 25

7PM Calypso Night at Restaurante Que Rico Papito at the Costa de Papito Hotel in Cocles. 

Friday, September 26

Starting at 3PM until Closing activities on Sunday the 28th: Discussions and workshops about Alternative medicine are held at Cabinas Jacaranda in Puerto Viejo. 

The Festival officially starts:

Friday, September 26

7PM                   Grand Opening: Fireworks, live music, and art expositions.        In the Casa Cultura in Puerto Viejo

8PM                   Inauguration of Puerto Splash! with live music by Jim MacDougall y los Rayos del Sol, Santos y Guayabal with Lucho Calavera, Plan B and Marfil.          On the Main Stage, the Basketball Court by the bus stop.

9:30PM-             Everyone is invited to Jonhy's Place to continue the celebration. 

Saturday, September 27

7AM to 10AM      Farmer's Market behind the Casa Cultural

10AM to 10PM    Art Exhibitions and workshops in and around the Casa Cultural

2PM                  Basketball Tournament with music by DJ Legalize and DJ Cris at the basketball court by the bus stop.

Noon to 7PM      Indigenous Theater Presentation, dance groups, art and movie exhibitions. In and around the Main Stage at the basket ball court. 

6PM                  Live music with PLAN B (reggae, Latin jazz and Fusion) at the Parquecito Restaurante. 

10PM                 Live music with Puerto Viejo Splash, Luis Angel Castro, Raymond Corporation, Melao Son, and La Orquesta de Salsa La Solución. On the Main stage the basket ball court. 

Sunday 28 of September

1PM to 6PM        Art exhibitions and workshops in the Casa Cultura

Noon to 7PM      Activities for kids--Children's theater, puppet shows, school project exhibitions, workshops, and more. On the basket ball court.

8PM to 10:15PM  Live music with Puerto Splash, Costa Caribe and Johnny Dixon

10PM                 Closing activities with live music Sonámbulo (Psico and Tropical Music) at Discothèque Stanford's

Por la Tarde:  Un pre-festival en Bar Maritza, es la semana numero 550 de "Open Jam Night" todos los músicos y todo el mundo están invitados.

Jueves, Setiembre el 25

7PM              Pre-festival con música en vivo Noche de Calipso en Restaurante Que Rico Papito de Hotel Costa de Papito. 

Viernes, Setiembre el 26

Empezando a las 3PM hasta la clausura el 28 domingo: Encuentros y tallers sobre Medicina alternativa en Hotel Jacaranda.

7PM                   Gran Inaguración de ArteViva 08 en la Casa de la Cultura con bandas, juegos pirotécnicos, pasacalles, música en vivo, muestra de artes visuales y feria artesanal!

8PM                    Inauguración de Puerto Splash! con musica en vivo Jim MacDougall y los Rayos del Sol, Santos y Guayabal con Lucho Calavera, Plan B y Marfil.  por la Tarima--cancha de basket por la parada de buses principal.

9:30PM-             Fiesta de abertura en la Discoteca Johnny's Place

Sabado, 27 de Setiembre

7AM to 10AM      Feria del Agricultor--por la Casa de la Cultura

10AM to 10PM    Feria Artesanal --por la Casa de la Cultura

1PM - 10PM        Muestra de artes visuales y artesanias, talleres, y espectáculos. 

2PM                   Torneo de Street Basket con DJ Legalize yDJ Cris en la cancha be Basket--la Tarima.

Noon to 7PM      Teatro Indigena, grupos de danza, espectáculos artisticos y cine por la Tarima. 

6PM                  Música en vivo con PLAN B (reggae, Latin jazz y fusión) en Restaurante el Parquecito.
