The finished product is also available for sale at ATEC . Pick up one of these works of art that employee several local ladies (it takes 30 hours to make one bag) and keeps about 80 plastic bags off the beach or out of the landfill!

These bags are the originals done by a women's group that benefits several local families. We know that there are copies of these bags made with new purchased plastic bags, therefore producing more plastic waste instead of promoting reuse and recycling.
