Come to a workshop with ReciCaribe at and with the Puerto Viejo High School at the Casa de la Cultura, this Friday the 13 of August at 1PM.

ReciCaribe invites you to:

1. Come to the workshop; or send a friend, employee, or child. We plan to make 20 recycling baskets to be placed around Puerto Viejo during Arte Viva / Carnival Puerto Viejo event fromt eh 20th of August to the 31st. The baskets will help to keep Puerto Viejo Clean and to get the word out that we recycle! After the event these baskets will be placed along the coast so we can continue to separate our solid waste.

2. Donate your used wire, fencing, and materials to make the recycling baskets! We hope to make all 20 baskets for recycling out of recycled materials. See the picture, this reycling basket was made out left over "Maya electrosoldada", any type of fencing and wire can be used. Please bring donated materials to ATEC. Call first please Alaine 2750 0052 or 8320 4821   We'll also need folks to bring tools to the workshop on the 13th. ATEC is offering a free internet to any student who brings 60 used plastic bottles to the event (the baskets are made w/ reused plastic bottles)

3. Adopt a recycling basket! We are looking for 20 businesses to donate 10.000 each to patronize these baskets. Thanks to Cabinas Loco Natural and La Kukula Lodge for being the first two adopters. Donors will have the name of their business on the basket. After the event the adopters can decide where they want their recycling basket located (by their business, on the beach, in a public place in their community). Any left over funds from the donations will go to further environmental education programs and recycling workshops.

Venga al taller con ReciCaribe y el Colegio de Puerto Viejo en la Casa de la Cultura este viernes el 13 de agosto a la una de la tarde.

Le ofrecemos:

1. Participacion en el taller para construir 20 canastas para reciclaje! Venga el 13 de agosto, viernes a la Casa de la Cultura a la una de la tarde y participa en este evento para promover la separacion corecto de desechos solidos. Si no puede participar, manda su amigo, hijo, o empleado para un tarde para trabajar para el bienestar de su comunidad.

2. Su donacion de materiales usadas o extras. Queremos hacer las cansatas para collectar el reciclaje con materiales re-usadas. Traer su maya electrosolda o maya de cualquier tipo, alambre extra o cedazo para que podemos reusarlo. Traelo a ATEC.

3. Patrocina una canasta para reciclaje! Buscamos 20 negocios para patrocinar las canastas para reciclaje. Si usted dona 10.000 vamos a poner el nombre de su negocio en la canasta, usar la canasta durante el Festival / Carnival, y despues usted decide donde poner la canasta (en su barrio, en su negocio, en la playa). Si sobre dinero vamos a usarlo para hacer mas educacion ambiental con los jovenes de la zona y hacer mas arte con reciclaje.
